About Mitch

For the majority of us, our lives are defined by certain moments when we are forced to be the best version of ourselves. For Get Bodied by Mitch founder, Mitch Senat, that moment was in 2010 when he began training for a Golden Gloves fight.

Like most fitness professionals, Mitch played sports in high school and college but when Mitch started training for his fight, he was general manager of one of NYC 's top nightclubs; alcohol and bright lights by night followed by 3-mile runs at 6:00 AM.

After six years at this pace, Mitch found himself exhausted and had to choose between being the best version of himself (healthy and fit) or continuing to drain himself with the pace he maintained at his nightclub job. He chose discipline and fitness.

With his uncovered determination, Mitch was in the Golden Gloves finals at Madison Square Garden for 10 weeks. Although he came in second place in the tournament, his health finally came in first. 

Subsequently, Mitch enrolled in certificate programs for personal training, Olympic lifting and nutrition. His first clients were 15-year-old basketball players. He worked with them on strength training, plyometrics and the importance of keeping a healthy diet.

With the momentum inspired by these young athletes, Mitch broadened his business to private clients. His passion projects are boot camps in Jamaica and Austin, TX that he runs 3 times a year.

Fitness Philosophy

The Get Bodied by Mitch fitness program is more then just a set of routines and reps. It's a way to add value to your life through the way you live it. 

This program will change your outlook on the way you train, eat and, very importantly, view yourself. By building a program tailored to you, we can build up your weak areas, enhance your strong points and get you on your way to the best version of you.

Nutrition

A new you starts with what is going inside of your body. Understanding how to make the right nutritional choices is essential to you achieving your goals.

Education

You can make better choices. Understanding what your body type responds to best will help you stay on track. This knowledge will change the way you think about training. Instead of looking down on training hard or feeling overwhelmed with an overly strict diet, you will learn how to love the way you train and eat because you are approaching your goal of becoming a new you.

Motivation

Weekly check-in calls are used to establish goals and discuss challenges and how navigate them. By continuing conversation and engagement outside of the gym, you will come mentally prepared workouts. Your physical fitness is as much about what you can do as what you think you can do.

Accommodation

Get Bodied by Mitch is here to meet all your fitness needs. All imbalances and/or injuries will be accessed so we can modify correctly and work towards improving and removing them. While we work to change your eating habits we will make sure your new nutrition lifestyle is one you will can live with and enjoy. 

Realization

After activating the first four stages of Get Bodied by Mitch, you will start to see major changes in your mind and your body. This will always be a process, constantly changing, evolving and challenging you to be the best version of yourself. Realization is about recognizing your hard work, seeing the commitment you’ve made to yourself.
